- Davina Kuh Jakobi, Mai to July 2018: Councelling in restauration and exhibit protection including light shield and show case construction for the planned exhibition as well as contribution to the special exhibition "The teeth of the tides".

We were active as international guest scientists at the DSM:
- Dr. Christina Ziegler McPherson, October to December 2017, Exhibition concept: Migration around 1900
- Dr. James Boyd, a new exhibition concept for the history of early modern migration
- Dr. Charlotte Colding Smith, March 2016 to August 2017, "Mankind & the Sea"; financed through the "Internationales Museum" programme of the Kulturstiftung des Bundes
